1. HV
- one of the TOF Lecroy mainframes was replaced by TOF team, spare was takes from the counting house; will not send broken Lecroy mainframe to repair yet to save money, upgrade needed and it will cost about $7000; 3 boards were moved from the hall to the test setup, 2 of them seems fine (one of them had tilted pin in bus connector); need better organized HV repair procedure, last time 4 boards were broken in a process in counting house test setup, need a meeting with all personal involved
- glued patch panels seems working fine, will use that method in future; 2 channels in 2 A1535 boards were broken and will be repaired; will ask Chris to repair and check calibration; if calibration is bad then will send it to CAEN; third board (unvisible in mainframe) will be stripped, and then send to CAEN
- continue to work with CAEN on SY1527/A1535 16-slot problem
2. DAQ:
- polar readout was changed, scaler opens in first event now (was in Go), does not crash on first event any more
- it was observed that if ROCs running for the long time (week and more) they must be rebooted, otherwise they starting to crash one after another, need to understand the reason; in a meanwhile will run 'net' only on PMCs, will see if it cost by 'net' or 'proc'
- sc2 is crashing about once per shift, under investigation
- disconnected front-end-busy cable from SF to FC was disconnected on the floor, it cost missing gate errors in DC crates; cable was labeled and connected
- 'mysql not available' error was observed in runcontrol, also all rocs reboot sometimes cost database to not respond fast enough, need to investigate
3. Run database
- run_log_restore program is ready, it will restore 3 ascii files in $CLON_PARMS area, which will be used to update database; will create a cron job to extract files from SILO and scan them one by one; 2 copies will be run: on clondaq2 to restore new files from raid, and on clonmon1 to restore old files from SILO
