July 1, 2020 online meeting minutes

present: Sergey, Valery, Ben, Rafo, Graham, Nathan, Stepan, Vardan, Eugene

1. Streaming DAQ/Trigger task force status: final report sent week ago to reviewers (S.Woods and B.Sawatzky), Graham will follow up with them

2. Upgrades: DAQ, trigger, purchases (VTP/TDC/VXS/...), etc

• plan is in task force report, purchases started (2 VTP boards and 8 VETROC TDCs are ordered, VXS backplane under discussion), will start MM discussion soon

• L1 trigger upgrade will involve Rafo, started in May and will speed up, will discuss on next meeting

3. Preparation for upcoming run

• tdcs/discriminators replacement: 2 places identified, will check TDCs, DSC2s and cables, will check how many spares we have

• daq crash tests on high rates, busy propagation - Ben will check DCRB firmware status for busy propagation and report next meeting, then we will decide on test plan

• CTOF need trigger cable to be restored, cosmic runs will be taken after that

• clonpc20/21 ? - new ones needed ?
