1. eg2dvcs run status
- clon10 68 subnet (bge1) port is broken, 68 was moved to bge2, 69 was removed; will reboot and contact SUN if necessary;
one v1190 in 'sc2' was firmware-upgraded when connection was lost, as result lost firmware, was reflashed from backup page
- new BIGIRON installed, Greg reported some scan-related problems, clonpc3 will be used to debug
- mv6100 BSP had a 'bug': DMA was finishing with interrupts, looks like it cause sc2 crashes on high rate; was commented out
on Dave's advise and it works now
- bethsw1 lost 3 (at least) ports during data taking (radiation ?), power recycle helped; all 3 were connected to terminal servers
(etherlite1, etherlite5, rs422a)
- event rate 5-6 kHz and fluctuates because of rastering; dead time about 10%
- raster is in data stream (FBPM), will be in epics; daq has alarm on raster on/off (clon_pr)
- new raid->stage->silo mechanism works fine, sometimes staging area unautomount itself, need to have
designated staging area for 3 Halls DAQ systems, problem reported to CC
2. Projects
- classc5 running new epics, classc12 to do including minitorus power supply control over serial line
- Lecroy HV mainframes: 3 came from repair, 2 works, 1 to be tested
- Lecroy HV modules: have enough spares, and the number of broken, but will not repair unless necessary
- CEAN SY1527: HVDVCS in CAEN, repair under way; HVEC2 drawer in CAEN, under way; SY1527 from Yuri with one module turning itself off occasionally, to be inverstigated
- A1535 connectors: parts sent to 'Radiall' for investigation, waiting ...; in a meanwhile we have trips in HVEC1, probably related to bad connectors, but it is still unclear ...
- software IOC cannot restore connection if lost and restored (clonpc2<->HVEC1), showing old values - MUST BE FIXED
- DCHV in EPICS: mainframe 1 and 4 does not turned off by 'dchv', maybe unused channels - must check; 'dccntrl' need to be added to GUIs
- 2 str7201 came from repair, need to be checked
- TOF laser still a troubled system ...
