August 21, 2019 online meeting minutes

1. HPS status

• new trigger file v11_5.trg is used, 20mkm target, 28kHz event rate, 380MB/s data rate, livetime 92%

• move2sile broke saturday night, switched to PROD67 (ER on clondaq7), problem fixed by CC, switched back yesterday

• hps2 and hps2vtp problems last night, did roc_reboot, maybe beam-related, will watch

• vnc still have problems, working on it, may try noVNC (web-based) client

2. New desktops in counting room

• 4 new machines arrived, RHEL7 installed, one machine did not like 7.5 so 7.3 installation disk was used and it worked, waiting for puppet config

• kde-medm seems have a conflict, will try gnome

• some cable adapters maybe needed

• 2 TVs installed, ready to be connected to desktops

3. New fileserver test

• new netapps server installed and connected to 167 subnet, will be available for us shortly, will make a test plan (Ben will look an VTPs and Sergey will look at Intel controllers
