present: Sergey, Cuevas, Valery, Gagik, Graham, Rafo, Vardan, Ben
- Gagik/Nathan: realtime data processing in current daq L3, and in streaming daq (existing offline algorithms, new IA approach etc)
Gagik presented his view on online data processing in general. Work will continue to identify work directions and scope. Several decisions were make, in particular:
- decoding is slow and unreliable, must be redone
- AI recommended, existing offline algorithms unrecommended to be used in online processing
- will concentrate efforts on Drift Chamber reconstruction; if successful, will look at central tracker, EC and other parts of CLAS12
- offline modeling is needed to understand if Drift Chamber related component can be improved and how
- Sergey/Ben: L1 trigger upgrade: did not have time to discuss, will do it next time
