• Ben compiled VNDL code developed in 2008 in ModelSim for peak finding and found that it requires clock period >20ns; it has 4bit for energy, and if increased will lead to further period increase

• Ben did first testing with processing c-code peak finder by c->vhdl converter, results were discussed

• we decided to proceed with c->vhdl converter; will use serialization mostly rather then parallel algorithms

• energy correction can be a problem if one strip participate in more then one cluster; will implement everything without energy correction and see how many resources left
