August 15, 2012 online meeting minutes

1. New CTP delivery by summer 2014, it will be modified GTP. HPS trigger algorithm will be upgraded with cluster multiplicity, and better energy calibration procedure must be developed. If new CTP is not ready in time, HPS can use existing GTP, cost estimate $8000 per board, plus manpower for FPGA programming. Discriminators/TDCs will be used as for now, FADCs will have independent timing measurements, as well as scalers. EPICS info must be in datastream. Event header should be in datastream. VME slot number will be used in FPGA programming instead of payload number.

New firmware for FADC is needed to add TDC measurement and utilize full speed for all 4 lines.

2. JInventory: waiting for quotation for barcode readers, will decide on naming convension and order barcode sheets, next week will talk about inventory database. Every cable's end will have 2 labels: with barcode, and logic. Name convention for logic labels will be discussed with detector groups in September.

3. Core part of clon cluster was relocated to the Hall and u againL LTCC, TOF and cables removal from FC should be finished in 2 weeks, new equipment installation can be started then. Pie Tower will be ready for installation shortly. Counting House must be ready for remodeling in the end of next week, both Sergey's will be working on it, as well as network cables removal on SF in the Hall. UPSes will be moved to the Hall, as well as some important electronics.
