Counting House remodeling
JLAB plans:
- 2nd floor remodeling: install ceiling, minimize noise from electronics, rearrange cubicles
- both floors: new lightning, new AC, new elevator
Hall B requirements:
- 1st floor: new street door to prevent water leaks; separate climate control for 102 and 102A; humidity control (40%+-10%); replace/do not use small round lamps which are failing all the time
- 2nd floor: electronics test and storage area (5 racks, table for soldering, electronics storage cabinets, shelfs for boxes), glass wall between racks and the rest of space with separate climate control for two areas; OPTIONAL: emergency AC power (similar to room 102A)
- time schedule ??? need to decide and let them know
March 7, 2012 meeting: plan (pdf).
- emergency power on the first floor will stay, on second floor we can add them later (not included in project)
- AC/network receptacles on new tables in 102 ???
- we have to wrap everything by plastic agains dust ourself
- floor replacement ???
