present: Sergey Boyarinov, Hovanes, Alex Somov

Shared areas between Hall B and Hall D were discussed:

• DAQ and Trigger: learn JLAB FPGA, may test Hall D equipment on CLAS beam; CLAS will provide ethernet, serial lines, RF signal; CODA group will provide DAQ software including front-end readout, Chris provides electronics, Halls will test everything as delivered

• Slow control - EPICS and underlying layers (PLC etc)

• Data monitoring: occupancy-based hardware-map-based; may use IRMIS for hardware mapping, output as EPICS channels; must generate new reference on request; insert to data stream as EPICS event, and to high level framework;

will set meeting with Elliott and Dima Romanov, Sergey will describe CLAS attempts to implement data monitoring; may create prototype and test in CLAS this winter; will discuss next meeting
