1. CLAS12 projects

  • JLAB discriminators tests: have 17 boards, under testing in test setup; TDC differencial non-linearity ; dual-use scalers (DAQ+EPICS), control from EPICS if 'go' bit is OFF, or maybe read scalers by thread and place in two memory locations, one for DAQ and another for EPICS with different integration time; will try to test them in CLAS in backward TOF counters; NOTE: need to find and upgrade 7 old discriminators
  • new TDC boards to be tested as well
  • TDC fanout tests will be continued, have some problems
  • new VME controllers from GE - commissioning; CentOS Linux, will be tested, maybe in CLAS
  • 17 FADCs are expected in May
  • EPICS: need generic plan for low control; old devices must be integrated in new EPICS !!! CAEN HV GUIs must be upgraded (still using Lecroy-style)
