January 27, 2010 online meeting minutes

present: Sergey Boyarinov, Sergey Pozdnyakov, Eugene Pasyuk

• FANUC VME Intel-based controller was installed in mini-VME64X crate and configured as croctest3; it runs RHEL5 installed by CODA group in flash; VME readout drivers/libraries are provided as well; we'll start using it in test setup; it must be integrated in CLAS DAQ; it must read v1190/v1290 CAEN TDCs in dma linked-list mode; beam test can be done in tage2/tage3

• after many changes related to the last TPC run CLAS DAQ was cleaned up; it will be tested in test setup and released before next run

• related to the first bullet: RHEL5 must be installed on all clon pc's, otherwise FANUC will be incompatible with the rest of pc's, and it is time to upgrade anyway; all MAC's must be reported to teh computer center

• remind Riad about helicity patch panel in counting house, he suppose to check incoming signals (4 signals must be there); then modify our scheme

• new EPICS channels must be added to epics_server config file, Eugene will check it

• check TESC bank, last time they were not injected properly into data stream (banks were there, but contents was junk)

• redo control connector to the helicity scalers
