  • dvcs trigger

clean AC power for dvcs racks installed, power strips installed, will be connected as first occasion

all discriminators connected to TDCs, all cables checked and good; some trigger-related 34-pair cables seems bad, will be repaired

Ben prepared maps, need to incorporate them into existing map tables (Rustam ?) ; DVCSTRIG firmware was modified to allow 4 reference signals into discriminators

EC2 and CC1 fastbus crates were swapped; translation tables are adjusted

new 34-pair cable was run between DVCSTRIG and CLASTRIG2 and new signal propagation measurements were conducted; results looks promising, we need to gain another 30-40 ns to be in time, one more please to look is the gate cables between clastrig2 rack and fastbus crates, they can be shorter, Chris is arranging new cables layout; forward carrage will be moved into final position soon and final measurements will be conducted then

software: both DVCSTRIG and CLASTRIG2 GUIs are operational, more tests will be performed; Ben provided header files so we can adjust our scripts and EPICS, work is in progress

quadrons still counts differently even with new firmware, Ben will replace v1495 board

2m cables must be checked as connected, patch panels maybe moved; vme crate must be moved down

Pawel is working on lookup table procedures

other activity discussed on previous meetings still to me conducted: need some trigger logic test; Hovanes may need to modify EPICS GUIs, Sergey B. need to fix EPICS stuff, lookup table downloading procedures etc

trigger logic test: CLAS part will be tested by Ben using lookup tables from Pawel and pattern generator; DVCS will be tested using discriminator masks, have to decide on original clusters set for both IC and Hodoscope

L2 to be tested

  • CLAS12 central tof test setup

new test setup was installed in ELL, clon20 runs CODA, VME crate is 'ctoftest1', PC is 'ctofpc1'; scripts are 'ctoftest_start' and 'ctoftest_exit'; passwords were asked if run from 'boiarino', need to fix; will use 'clasrun' anyway
