Remaining work in CLAS12 trigger system before Dec 4, 2017 run

1. Hadrware:

  • 17 VTP boards assembly and testing - Ben Raydo, Jeff Wilson
  • 17 VTP boards installation (10-DC, 6-FTOF, 1-CND) - Ben Raydo, Sergey Boyarinov
  • 17 VTP boards connection (Ethernet, serial, fibers) - Chris Cuevas, Armen Stepanyan, Mark Taylor


2. Firmware:

  • ECAL: change from inner to total in cluster search - Sergey, Ben
  • FT - Ben
  • FTOF - Sergey, Ben
  • stage2, stage 3 - Ben


3. Simulation:

  • GEMC fadc mode1 digitization - Rafo
  • stage 1 (except FT) - Sergey
  • stage 1 (FT) - Andrea
  • stage2, stage 3 - Rafo
  • validation 1 (cosmic vs C++) - Sergey, Rafo
  • validation 2 (GEMC vs C++ vs CLARA) - detector groups ? ( Cole, ..)


4. Configuration:

5. Monitoring:

Progress since last meeting:

  • 12 VTP boards installed in Hall (Ben, Sergey): 10 in DC and 2 in FTOF sectors 5 and 6. Five more VTPs needs repair - in progress. Cabling under way, should be ready in few days (Vhris, Mark, Armen). All VTP installation may take couple of weeks because of needed repairs.
  • HTCC from GEMC is included into trigger validation (Rafo, Sergey), we have now PCAL, ECAL and HTCC, FT (Andrea) and FTOF(Sergey) are in progress.
