Test results : Calibration VX1290A with DSC2

TDC Outputs from JLAB VME Discriminators DSC2 were Inputs for CAEN VX1290A.

Width of TDC Outputs changed from 4 ns to 40 ns.

Histograms present distributions for four CAEN VX1290A TDCs in each run

Test was done in Counting room VME crate "croctest2"

  • In run # 10491 four VX1290A with Ser. ## 56, 60, 53, 55 were tested, TDCs were in slots 7, 8, 9, 10 correspondingly:

Tests of CAEN TDCs VX1290N with NIM inputs

TDC Outputs from JLAB VME Discriminators DSC2 were converted on ECL-to-NIM translator and were used as Inputs for CAEN VX1290N. CAEN TDCs VX1290N and JLAB VME Discriminators DSC2 were tested in Counting room, in VME crate "croctest2".

Width of TDC Outputs changed from 4 ns to 40 ns.

Histograms suppose to present distributions for four CAEN VX1290N TDCs in each run, but in run 10514 only three VX1290N were tested. In run 10516 - fourth TDC with Ser.28 was not visible in crate, something wrong with setting of base address.

  • In run # 10514 three VX1290N with original firmware v.0.5 and Ser. ## 22, 23, 24 were tested, TDCs were in slots 7, 8, 9 correspondingly:

  • Run # 10516 for four VX1290N with firmware v.0.6, Ser. ## 25 29 31 28 - slots ## 7 8 9 10, Ser.28 - had a problem, not visible in crate:
