SmartSockets is the communication package used by many CLON programs. We have license with TIBCO, it must be renewed every year, normally in September.
Startup procedure
Normally it is done automatically by startup script. Following command can be user on clondb1 to start it manually:
rtserver -server_names clondb1 >& /dev/null &
Startup script /etc/init.d/smartsockets has following contents:
