* hardware: fiber transceivers installed 'almost' everywhere; fibers installation in process, last order to be arrived this week; equal sec4 tdc cable missing; FTOF VTPs still in repair, will goto FTOF, others can be installed right now

- PCAL strip threshold will be applied once during translation, not second time ti splitted strips to avoid effect shown on [https://clonwiki0.jlab.org/wiki/clondocs/Docs/PCALTriggerThreshIssueFromCole.pdf Cole's picture]; maybe make all strips double ? may have space for mip trigger (up and low threshold for every hit energy, or maybe make ftof send info directly to pcal on stage 1)
 
- Andrea sent email with lookup tables for stage 2; Ben and Sergey will provide stage2 template for Rafo, he'll start writing simulation
 
- commissioning plan from Dan Carman: trigger (Valery) and DAQ (Sergey); Valery will collect info and make a plan, and we'll see missing tools; Valery will ask detector groups, what kind of triggers they want first few days of detectors commissioning; after that need trigger for beam intensity studies; after that trigger system commissioning plan will be used

2. DAQ preparations

  • TDC calibration: "noise" generator installed and connected to discriminators's test inputs in tdcftof2 crate, first run data taken, will be analyzed (andrey Kim); tdc1290 library was updated, it has all necessary functions to upload/download/control compensation table and tic chip internal delay adjustments
  • scalers: 2 struck scalers installed in trig2 crate along with optic-nom converter; helicity optical signals from MCC were fined-out in counting room and sent to two locations in the hall: SF level1 north and pie tower; all electronics will be checked, and scalers readout will be added to day
  • RF on FC: 2 crates, 2 v1290 and 2 FADCs
  • epics server from Ken to be tested - about next week (Sergey and Nathan)
