FADC250 testing plan: will buy 10 fanouts $700 each, will ask Chris to produce them ASAP, because FADC in test setups can not be used without fanouts; first board is in test setup, works from internal trigger but fails from external, tests just started so some results will be in a week; tests to be conducted: check functionality (fifo readout gives BERR for example, maybe something else must be fixed), playback mode for long run, pulser inputs including crosstacks and linearity (need splitter, may get from Chris), baseline measurements for stability and noise, passive splitter in PCAL setup and measure on 1881 and fadc250 the same channels, trigger correlation with inputs, what happens if more then 1 pulse was integrated in the window, check for self-generating and think how to monitor such behaviour on flight (build-in scalers and integral value) | ||
