2. JLAB discriminators: first test was conducted using 1877 TDCs (500ps resolution); threshold dependence is linear, with dependence is 'almost' linear; resolution from trigger output is about 2.26ns leading and 2.36ns trailing edges; TDC output shows 530ps which is TDC resolution, will use high res TDCs to measure it; test input and scalers to be tested as well; delay from input to trigger output is 75ns (and can be decreased), to tdc output to be measured

1. Next run preparations:

  • BONUS readout: 3 PCs with Linux, 3 TI PCI cards, 3 RORCs, 6 crates, 26 FEC cards; new PCs will be installed on North SF, probably in DCHV rack on the floor; they will be connected to the branch instead of tage, tage2 and tage3; need 2 new TI PCI cards, and a lot of electronics still coming from Italy, and 3 DELL PCs still to be delivered; software for CODA readout was adjusted by Sergey B. from CERN test program, some issues still to be fixed (we are loading firmware in every prestart to make it work); we are testing BONUS in ELL building until Sep 28, then it will be moved to the Hall
  • it will be external trigger for BONUS, need to find empty TS input, maybe instead of TOF, probably 2 signals
  • hodoscope will be installed, electronics/readout is still there
  • Friday Oct 2 everything must be ready for the beam
  • need to improve helicity correction
  • fix sc2 crashes if possible (new coda_roc)
