Ben could not attend the meeting, [[Ben's email 09-09-2008]] contains current status of his development. Ben will be done soon with firmware and control GUI, we need to concentrate on hardware/wiring and timing. After Ben is done our scripts must be adjusted including lookup tables downloading and EPICS. May need IC scalers in data stream, IOC will be running, must be adjusted as well. Dimanv for IC discriminators will be called from standard download/prestart procedure (config files exists for IC in the same plase as EC,CC etc), OR modules will be programmed from 'photon' script as before.

SF-to-FC cable: we can use existing ribbon cable, run new ribbon cable straight or use fast coaxial cable(s). We'll measure different options, then we'll discuss coaxial cable's option with Ben, order connectors, make and run new cables if necessary. May need some simple setup to measure timing. Fewer cables with coding ?? Ask Ben. Check gate generating delays.

We may need narrower gate for IC, but ADCs are in EC1 crate ... If cables will reach, can put all IC ADCs to CC1 crate, have to ask Tom Carstens.

New VME64X crate will be installed with 4-5 v1190 TDCs, it will be new ROC.

Ben could not attend the meeting, Ben's email 09-09-2008 contains current status of his development.

May need some simple setup to measure timing (need fewer cables if coding IC trigger results ?? Ask Ben). Check gate generating delays.

We may need narrower gate for IC, but ADCs are in EC1 crate ... If cables will reach, can put all IC ADCs to CC1 crate, have to ask Tom Carstens, may need to relocate some IC splitters on FC.

Ask Stepan about putting rack on the weels and move upstears.

New VME64X crate will be installed with 4-5 v1190 TDCs, it will be new ROC.
