October 24, 2007 online meeting minutes

present: Sergey Boyarinov, Eugene Pasyuk, Sergey Pozdnyakov, Nerses Gevorgyan, Stepan Stepanyan

mainframes:

• one Lecroy arrived from repair, under testing in the test setup, works so far; Lei will install it instead of EC #4, which will be tested in test setup and decision will be made on possible repair

• 6-ch HV boards arrived from repair, works, installed instead of 12-ch (beam line devices)

• patch panels for new 48-ch HV boards are in progress (Armen)

• suspicious mainframe in tagger area (PS, ST, ...) - Eugene will look at, may redistribute cards to other mainframes including new sy1527

epics:

• mainframes <-> iocs table in progress, first version on web (Nerses); page on slow control for some iocs (always; he will know if post-reboot config is needed, it will be in the list)

• Nerses if making preparations in epics to switch to the sy1527 from Lecroy if needed

• some problems were observed related to the bigsubRecord implementation, works now but need to be understood

• Hallsystems works for LAC, incorporated into ioc restart GUI, still need UNIX version

• alarm screens - works now in new epics, will check in and make old epics

• do we need epics archiving for HV channel currents ? and voltages ? Nerses will look at that after run started

• scaler gui: add target channels (Eugene, Nerses)

fast reconstruction:

• Franz made several G9A-specific histograms

• need to fix photon run particle ID part - Sergey is working (it was used to the long time to reconstruct electrons only); Eugene will help

other:

• clonhp2 maintenance kit arrived bad, ordered new one

• counting house cleanup was performed, exsessing in progress

• Eugene is fixing EPICS variables list; cron job control needed (cdev -> ca, -9999. will be monitored); see Stepan's mail (Halls energies)

• expecting G9A run starting date is October 30
