1. Preshower calorimeter test setup (PCAL) was equiped with new electronics, including FASTBUS 1872 TDC board, VME camac controller installed into second SFI slot, CAMAC crate with controller, 2313 discriminator, HV SY1527 mainframe with HV board (hvec1 taken from HAll B FC) and patch panel. Softioc for HV will be running on ''clonpc3''. DAQ software was adjusted. As soon as wiring is finished we'll start testing entire system.

2. CLAS TOF system upgrade is almost completed: everything installed except cables between patch panel and 1881 ADCs (they were ordered and should be here this week). We have new v1190 TDC board in sc2 crate, 7 new 2313 discriminators installed in branch 0 camac 1, new 1881 ADC board installed in slot 15 crate sc1, 2 patch panels, all necessary cabeling. Discriminator-controlling software was adjusted, ROC13.tab and ROC22.tab translation tables modified.

3. CLON cluster upgrade is completed. All Linux machines were updated by ''up2date'' command, except Yellow Dog Linux clonpc4, which was not touched. Mac OS X on clonpc7 was updated using Mac update. All Solaris sparc-based computers were patched using recent pacth cluster. On clon03 and clon05 machines and on all Opteron-based machines Solaris 10 update 3 was installed from scratch and patched as well. Three computers were renamed: clonxt1->clondaq1, clonxt2->clonusr1, clonxt3->clondaq2 (along with secondary network interfaces). DAQ software was adjusted including msql database.

4. All our v1190/v1290 TDC boards were modified by Fast Electronics Group, extra wire was installed to connect VME RETRY signal in according to CAEN recommendations. New firmware was loaded to all of them, all boards reinstalled in the Hall B and ready. We will utilize 2eVME readout as soon as mv6100 controlled will be installed.

5. CLAS12 DAQ and Electronics price estimates were submitted to Latifa, review took place Monday September 10. Hopefully we do not have to spend more time on that issue in closest future.

6. Yuri's test setup machine ''wolfram'' (ELL building) was upgraded by installing Solaris 10 update 3 and patches, CODA software will be used from clon cluster directly as it is done for PCAL, so startup scripts and msql db must be modified.

7. TIBCO SmartSocket license still to be purchased.

8. CLAS electronics equipment list still waiting to be completed.

We had useful discussion on CLAS12 trigger development and cooperation between Hall B and Fast Electronics Group. In addition to that big project we have smaller one: trigger system for DVCS calorimeter which can be good starting point since in also involve FPGA programming and cluster finding algorithm is similar to the CLAS12 one. We decided to prepare DVCSCAL trigger system requirements and discuss it with Chris and Ben and then decide how it can be done, and how it is fitted into CLAS12 desing preparations which is highest priority.

Several issues related to the upcoming G9 run were discussed. We'll need L2 trigger so hardware must be checked before. Photon trigger login need some cleanup, Sergey P. will do it carefully, maybe involving Eugene Pasyuk and other experts. He is cleaning up right rack on FC beamline level as well. Two Lecroy HV mainframes came from repair, one of them works, another one will go back to repair. Currently we have 3 working mainframes in the Counting House and it should be enough for the possible replacements during the run.

We descussed the progress in our current projects:

1. Preshower calorimeter test setup (PCAL) was equiped with new electronics, including FASTBUS 1872 TDC board, VME camac controller installed into second SFI slot, CAMAC crate with controller, 2313 discriminator, HV SY1527 mainframe with HV board (hvec1 taken from HAll B FC) and patch panel. Discriminator-controlling software was adjusted, ROC13.tab and ROC22.tab translation tables modified. From now on all channels from 40 to 57 will be marked by setting on second bit in high ID byte, it will effect data banks SC and SCT. All software processing those banks must be modified.

Carl Timmer started to debug our ET-related problems, so it should be resolved shortly.
