The Conn_Max_Restarts option specifies the maximum number of times that RTserver restarts a server connection if an error occurs while accepting a new RTclient or RTserver. If RTserver does not restart the connection, then the connection cannot be used to rendezvous with any new processes. These errors are rare but can occur if a network or system failure occurs. If Conn_Max_Restarts is set to 0
, then RTserver always restarts a server connection. For a discussion of how a server connection accepts a client connection, see The Server Accepts the Client.
This option is required and cannot be unset.
