As described in the previous lessons, the client-server architecture of TIBCO SmartSockets allows RTclients to easily send messages to each other, without knowing where they reside on the network. In addition to enabling easy development of distributed applications, RTserver, RTmon, and RTclient processes also have monitoring and locating capabilities, which help you (and those ultimately responsible for watching the deployed application) to examine detailed information about your application, as well as to determine where processes are located in your network.
