The ss.server_read_timeout option specifies how long, in seconds, an RTclient waits for traffic on the connection before it issues a keep alive request. This timeout is used to check for possible network failures. When this option is set to zero (0.0
), then read timeouts are disabled. The larger the value set, the longer the RTclient waits to detect a possible RTserver failure.
