Most DAQ problems related to ROC crashes. If it happens event rate drops to zero and warning messages will appears in runcontrol window. For instance if ROC 'ec2' crashed following messages will be shown: WARN : ec2 has not reported status for 17 seconds or Component ec2 is not responding. RECOVERY PROCEDURE: 1. Click "End" on runcontrol GUI and wait for about 15 seconds; it will fail for troubled ROC but all others will be ended. 2. Click "Reset" on runcontrol GUI. 3. Reboot troubled ROC using command 'roc_reboot ' from clon10. Wait several minutes for ROC to finish boot process. ROC status can be checked by command 'roc_status' (from clon10) which will show all ROCs. After reboot ROC status must be 'booted' or 'configured'. If some of ROCs are not in 'booted' or 'configured' state, reboot them as well. NOTE: 'roc_status' may take a while to respond if at least one ROC is dead or rebooting, be patient 4. Kill event builder EB0 by typing Ctrl-C in "EB_TERM" window. Start it again (recall previous command using arrow up). Prompt "clasprod::EB0>" must shows up. 5.
